Women’s Basketball Museums
The Women’s Basketball Museum is housed in the Carmichael Arena on the Chapel Hill campus of the University of North Carolina. The Museum features artifacts from the UNC Women’s Basketball program, including nine ACC championships and three NCAA Final Four appearances. The exhibit includes an ACC Film Interactive and a player interactive, in which visitors can take their shot at the net. In the center of the gallery there is a two-story sculptural piece resembling a giant basketball hoop filled with basketballs that supports 10 video monitors showing game clips.
